An inspiring evening with Bobby Berk

We met Bobby Berk and OMG we love him even more now than we did before - if that’s even possible!!! We’re huge fans of Queer Eye (even if it pretty much always makes us cry!) and have been so super excited that Bobby and the rest of the crew have been in Kansas City for the last couple of months filming their next season… or is it seasons?! :) We love spotting them around town and seeing which of our favorite KC spots they’re discovering now.

When our friend (and owner of Golden & Pine - swoon!), Stephanie, approached us about the event she was hosting with Bobby himself, we were thrilled to help pitch in with a little design work. Stephanie and her team thought of everything! Perfectly crafted cocktails, a gorgeous spread of food, a beautiful outdoor setting… we could go on!

Bobby answered questions, shared design advice, and told stories for over an hour, while we all listened, laughed, and maybe shed a tear or two. He was just so genuine and inspiring! We’ll hold on to all of his advice and insight for a long time!
