Announcing: our new calendars & planners! 05.08.2015

It’s really SO hard for us to keep a secret. We’d like to think we are good at it, but it’s really complete torture and we’ve been sitting on this little secret for a while now. So we are pretty much wanting to shout from the rooftops that we have a brand new line of calendars and planners!!!!!!! Can you hear us squealing???!!!!

We know it’s ironic that if you look at our workspaces, you might think we are a bit of a mess (that’s putting it nicely). But when it comes down to it, both of us are absolutely OBSESSED with our paper planners and calendars and keep them psychotically organized. We really don’t go anywhere without a coffee in one hand and our planners tucked under our arms like a blankie. We’re very particular about the type of paper, the layout, the month vs week pages…really all of it. We have been using planners for a long time and have learned exactly what works and if it works for both of us, then we know it’s a win. So this new partnership with the super-awesome company, Blue Sky, is such an organization-lover’s dream!

Today we are sharing a little peek into the first round of calendars and planners sold at Staples! We partnered closely with the brilliant minds at Blue Sky to design the perfect planners that incorporated everything you need in a calendar but also infused a little hit of fun pattern and color (we couldn’t help ourselves)! There are various sizes of Weekly/Monthly planners, a Desk Pad and a Wall Calendar and they are all for the July 2015 – June 2016 Academic Year which means they are PERFECT to get started with very soon! We sure hope you guys love them!

Check out our first collection right at Staples HERE!

We will have a small group of these calendars and planners on our own etsy shop in the next week or two, but you’ll have to move fast!

office accessories 06.13.2013

You might remember, a few months ago, we starting leasing our very first studio space! The building has clean, modern lines and beautiful white walls inside. We love everything about it….but of course, we had to add some additional pops of color and that all started with our office accessories! Thanks to poppin for getting us outfitted with bright yellow, turquoise and fuschia rulers, tape dispensors, pens and notebooks! They literally brighten up our work days. It’s always nice to surround yourself with well-designed things…and we think great color goes hand in hand!

The quality of the luxe notebooks is phenomenal! Isn’t the embossing great? And we got these great wooden pencils from the Kid Made Modern section at Target!

The rulers might be our favorite. Or the tape dispensers. Nevermind, we love all the poppin goodies!

Go get yourself some!

stylish start for 2013 01.07.2013

Have we mentioned how thrilled we are with our winter intern, Allie? Cause she’s pretty awesome! She first brought us some perfect jewelry ideas and now she’s here helping us bring in the new year with style…and lots of fun color and pattern, we might add! Allie rounded up the perfect planners and desk accessories to kick off the new year with a really fresh start! Bring it on 2013!

on the lookout: toy storage 08.24.2012

Toys are overtaking our house! Having good-looking bins, baskets and other miscellaneous containers all over the house to stow them back into makes things more manageable so I’m always on the lookout for durable, kid-friendly options. Cleaning up the mess with a toddler running around is a lot like shoveling the driveway in a blizzard, but what are ya gonna do, right?

loving: the museum of useful things 01.04.2012

So, it’s January and time for a fresh start. For us, this means a quest for organization. Who’s with us? One of the best things about getting our acts together (in addition to the high that comes from taming clutter) is cool organizational tools! The Museum of Useful Things is a great shop for simple solutions that look good and have a little nostalgic flare. Happy organizing!
