sunny spaces 04.08.2013

we are SO ready for spring and not just in our wardrobes….bring on the sun! We are dreaming of spaces with large windows, fresh air and sun spilling in!!!

Lisa Congdon for Hygge & West wallpaper 11.02.2012

Let’s face it, we are long time fans of both Lisa Congdon AND Hygge & West wallpaper, so when this rad collaboration came about, there’s nothing for us not to love! How great would this paper look in an entryway? Ooh…or a bathroom! It’s got personality and character, but it’s not too overwhelming! Hygge & West actually just released a few new collections and really, they are all amazing! We have to admit, we’re feeling a wee bit jealous of these designers getting to have their patterns on wallpaper–such a dream!!!

on the lookout: zara home 10.09.2012

It was years ago when the two of us studied abroad in England that we first fell in love with Zara! Their clothes were always ahead of the curve, great design, well-made AND just happened to be at reasonable prices! That’s pretty hard to find. So, when we later discovered Zara Home we about flipped out, but it’s never been available in the US until now!!! They just launched their online shop today and they have such a great mix of basics, beautiful neutrals and metallics, but also some great hits of color! If you hadn’t heard yet…you’re welcome :)

feeling the need for organization 10.02.2012

Is anyone else desperately feeling the urge to organize? I know that spring is typically the time of year for cleaning and organizing, but there is no way I can wait that long! It seems my pin boards have been taken over by all things neat and orderly!! Watch out closets…I’m coming for ya…

    Ha, ha! This is AWESOME! I’ve been feeling it for SURE! Worked on my garage and my studio. I’ve taken multiple trips to the Container Store and Ikea. TOTALLY feeling the urge to organize!!
