house & home: get the look 03.15.2012

>

You might’ve seen this comfy, bohemian-modern dining area on pinterest, yes? Did you get the urge to start over on your entire house? yes? Well we did, too! This room was done by the insanely talented Amber Interiors and we just had to attempt to bring some of this stunning style into our own homes! Picking just one or two of these pieces and combining them with things we already have is the route we want to take! Hope you like these ideas and go check out Amber Interiors portfolio!

house & home: home office 03.02.2012

>

I just spent way too much time scanning through a giant gallery of home office inspiration over at House to Home UK and had to share some favorites. If you’re not finding your style here, there are about 170 more to check out (seriously). Some good eye candy if you feel like procrastinating while you wait for the weekend to get here (we won’t tell).

house & home: kelly green 02.17.2012

>

Each year, when I’ve just about had it with all the winter grays, I am desperate for a burst of intense color and it usually lands somewhere in my home (my wardrobe is already a a full rainbow). Kelly green in interiors is not a new idea, but something about it just feels perfect right now–it can go traditional, modern or even a perfect gender-neutral option for a kid’s room! Are any of you already rocking kelly green in your home? We’d love to see!

    >Kelly green is my favorite shade of green. I'm now obsessed with the bed in the first image. I always love the bold pieces you share.

    >This shade is stunning! Reminds me of St. Patrick's Day – crisp spring air and green beer. The green bed IS pretty fabulous, but my favorite is the kitchen wall with the white shelves and cabinets. I can imagine it pairs well with bronze accents, too.
