We just wanted to give a HUGE thank you to the Kansas City AIGA chapter, especially Taylor Pruitt for organizing this awesome Homegrown event!!!
Just as we mentioned before, we were beyond flattered to be in the company that we were in–such an inspiring group of speakers (see full list here)! So we wanted to share just a few shots from the event for those of you that missed it!
This was our first time in the River Market Event Space–amazing!!! We highly recommend it!

So we had a packed house…can you say, nervous? eeks.
But the talk went great, other than our microphones making that super awful sound when they get too close to each other. That’s never fun.
And, one thing we were happily surprised about, was the warm welcome for our little mini-shop set up in the back of the event space. We had a chance to catch up with some old friends and meet so many new friends in the city!!

It always means so much more to meet the people that we are selling our art to! Just makes us want to have a bricks & mortar shop one day! Look how freaking amazing our customers were!

Hi Everyone! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! For our Kansas City friends, we just wanted to make sure you guys got to see the Ink Magazine Holiday Gift Guide! We were part of a group of local Kansas City “Tastemakers” that got to put together a pretty fab (if we do say so ourselves) round-up of gifts from Kansas City’s best of the best!! We’ll share the full gift guide here next week, but if you get a chance, pick one up an Ink as you are headed out to shop this weekend!
Last Sunday, on our facebook page, we shared the super exciting news that we had the honor of being featured in our local newspaper, The Kansas City Star!!! We were in the Sunday paper, in the House + Home section for a fun little Q & A!! Now we have the full feature jpg to share with you all here on the blog!! We had the best time hanging out with Stacy Downs, who did the interview. She came over, we had some coffee, chatted about our favorite places to shop and suddenly an hour had passed – it felt like it was 5 minutes! We wanted to give Stacy a HUGE thank you for doing the interview and for doing such a great job with the write-up! We’re thrilled and honored to be in The KC Star (we happen to be really proud of our local newspaper!)
