trend watch: hexagons 04.02.2013

Move over mod circles and contemporary squares, there’s a new shape in town…welcome the hexagon! Quite interesting on it’s own and when partnered with others, it makes a honeycomb pattern that feels fresh and new! We are wanting hexagon-everything from home accessories to jewelry! we love patterns and we love trends. so when we see a trend pattern emerging, we so love to share it! What do you think of this window pane look? It’s not necessarily a plaid, and it’s not necessarily Mondrion-inspired, it’s just doing it’s own super-simple, straightforward thing. It’s a graphic, bold, grid. Perfect and exact. New Year’s Eve parties are just two days away, so what better time is there to embrace the holographic trend than right now? that’s right, we’re seeing metallics taken to a whole new level….silver and gold aren’t going to cut it any more, it’s time to take your metallics to a futuristic level!
