I can’t wait for the Olympics! I’m trying to come to terms with the the idea that I might not won’t get to compete in the Olympics (this was my ultimate childhood goal, but my gymnastics skills didn’t quite hold up). Anyway, I still love being a spectator and get teary over and over with pride for all the athletes. I love seeing the world come together for a few weeks of friendly competition. To get in the spirit, I’ve assembled a few olympic-inspired items!

great post, carrie. love the london illustrations! i’m looking forward to rooting for our women’s gymnasts. they have such powerful athleticism combined with grace. i fully expect them to sweep all of the medals in their events!
