trend watch: flower power 02.24.2012

Holy flowers! I’ll be honest: I’m not totally sure how I feel about this particular trend, but it’s out there with a vengeance. For me, it’s a look I’d use with restraint. Maybe a blazer (I do love #6) with a printed tee and denim? What do you think? Are you feeling flowery or avoiding this one altogether?

    >I'm feelin' flowery! I love #6, and would possibly do floral denim if the cut was fantastic (and the print too!). I wear a lot of print…it's hard to find a solid in my closet…so it's hard for me to purchase/invest in a printed item that's an accessory or 3rd piece. I think it's perfect for those who wear a lot of solids, to spice up their look!

    >I've been loving floral dresses and blouses. They are so light, airy, and wonderfully feminine! They're getting me excited for warmer weather!

josephine: we definitely wear a lot of print, too. but we're suckers for printed accessories also. basically, we can't get enough patterning! ha!

    thanks, jan!

engquist: we are with you! we are so ready for spring and dresses and saying goodbye to coats!
