Carrie's Dining Room Update

The home updates just keep coming! It's Carrie again... this time talking about our dining room refresh. You know how you move into a new house and you're unpacking and you think eh, I don't love that there, but I'll update it later. No? Just me? Well "later" turned into ELEVEN YEARS later. Eleven years of looking at a piece of art above the buffet that we didn't love there. Well, not anymore! Thanks to minted.com and their endless selection of amazing art prints and framing and matting options, we have a dining room that feels much more like us. We love the colors of this scene and the way it was photographed so perfectly. (And when it's about 5:00 and my children are nearing the end of their ability to keep cool, I may or may not daydream of sipping on a cocktail under those twinkling lights on a beach somewhere...) The print we selected inspired us to to pull together a collection of colorful items we already had around the house, but with a beautiful new backdrop, everything seems to fit just right!
