our first fabric line!

We have been SO anxious to share more details about our exciting news and today we can!!! The picture above is a little sneak peek of our very first line of fabrics in collaboration with Windham Fabrics!!!! We can hardly believe we are getting to say those words. Having a line of fabric has been a dream of ours for quite a long time now, so the fact that this is coming to fruition is a bit surreal for us! We got these samples of fabric in the mail today and I bet the two of us just sat there and unfolded them and stared at them for an hour! It's just really fulfilling to see something in it's final form after putting a lot of work into it!

We've been beyond lucky to get to work with the insanely talented people at Windham and not to mention to now be included in the Windham designer family means to be among designers we have long admired and who even inspired us to get into this field to begin with (seriously), such as Lotta Jansdotter, Jackie Shapiro (of French Bull fame), and Julia Rothman!!

We would love to share each design in our new line with you all right now, but we can't do that quite yet, so we thought we could, at least, share some of our inspiration behind i! The collection is called "Cream & Sugar" and it's all about TEA! (yum, we love tea and all the goodies that go along with it) The Cream & Sugar collection is filled with bright color (as you can see in the sneak peek above) and we created the artwork with paper-cut-outs and handwriting! Psst..one of our favorite parts is picking out the final color palette!

So, that's what we've been up to lately...and if you remember this little celebration picture (below)....this is the day we received the contract from Windham and knew everything was official! Happy girls :)
